Senators Cost Home States $300 Million

US Citizens in nearly every state awoke this morning to the news of the Senate passing its version of the Health Care Reform bill, but what most citizens haven’t realized yet is that their US Senators cost them as much as $300 Million in cash payments, cost deferments or additional benefits as part of the legislation.

When you’re marketing a new property there are going to be other similar listings (generally referred to as “comps”) in the same price range and the same general region. With more than 80% of home buyers using the internet to conduct their home search, it’s a given that those comps are going to show up when your potential buyers search the MLS. Most real estate agents ignore these listings, but if you know your potential buyers are going to see these listings, why not take the time to compare and contrast your listing to these comps while you have the buyer’s attention?
